Yes, finally SPCPOC is over and the winner is out! Yup, no other than Xian Da Nan Hai! :) Somehow, it felt damn glad to see that most of the SP juniors have improved over the past few months and a good feeling for Xian Da Nan Hai to retain the championship again, but I felt quite unsatisfied this time round, totally UNsatisfied...

It's like...although Xian Da won...I'm not really happy about my performance, basically because I was really damn unfit when I played the first game of the competition. It was pretty demoralising and amusing to see myself at that level, Haha! Luckily for me, I was on leave til last Friday so I have alil bit of time to train up myself.

Anyway, enough said on this competition. Time to train even harder! :) To get prepared for another downfall...hahaha! Sigh, my intake is June...what the hell! By the time I get in Sispec or OCS, it'll be my 8th months in NS! Haha! Time flies! :)

I found this link on Yahoo! and I thought it's a pretty good idea to store and share it just in case you guys or me, are looking for entertainment in this small & pretty boring Singapore (other than Universal Studio which has just open and which I think many people will get bored of it soon).

What really interest me is the Go Kart, but I'm not really sure about the rating of it. My teammates and I were planning to go Malaysia's Go Kart but didn't know why it nvr worked out. Hah!

Can't explain the mixed feelings I'm having right now...To think back on what I've done during the test sortie just now, pretty silly...Committing to mistakes that I think I wouldn't have done...Oh well...No point saying, "I should've done this, should've done that, should've done better". It's all pretty over now and maybe I just don't have the capability for this...Cheer up, Hanlong :)

Haha...but perhaps it's just a blessing in disguise? Somehow I don't wish to be committed to a regimental lifestyle for the next 10 years? I don't really like the idea on being in within a regimental environment...SO! Let's just move on! There's many more opportunities out there in the world and I still have a few dreams & goals to fulfil on.

I'm going back to Singapore on Friday! Home sweet home! That means I can still play SPCPOC! Haha! That's only if there's slot for me in the team...Am totally unfit now ever since I stepped into Tamworth, because it's too stressful to gym. And and! Didn't make it thru for AGC means I'm going back Sispec/OCS? Hoho! I really need to buck up on my fitness in order to achieve IPPT Gold standard! Lol!

Gosh...I'm starting to miss Singapore food already. I wanna eat many many different kinds of Singapore once I return to Singapore. Lol!
I was surfing the webby on local news when I came thru this wanton mee my parents used to buy back home when they're free or dropping by along that area...It used to be our family & relatives' (my Mother's side) all time favourite. Memories of my parents buying back more than 5 packets and stocking them up in the freezer and reheating it and eat whenever we feel like it...Awesome! Oh ya, the chilli's damn hot & power! Hah! My brother used to have diarrhoea after every meal of this wanton mee. Haha...

Tomorrow, we're all gonna depart for Tamworth, Australia for our airgrading course...Oh man, it has been quite sometime since entering into another course, or rather vocation and getting busy into it...I feel slack...totally slack! With no proper gym & canoe polo for a god damn long time...Damn really miss those poly times...I'm feeling really quite upset about missing this year's SPCPOC 2010 :( but if I haven't return by that time, that means I'm most probably passing that course! (haha ya right, dream on! =/ )

Somehow, I'm dreading to go for this airgrading course as time comes, I don't really know why...

Perhaps, I feel that I don't have the confident and ability to able to acheive success. Let's just say it in another way, fear of failture? Nevertheless, I'm gonna travel with this awesome group of people. Together, with the same mindset & aim, let's get the AGC done once and for all :)

The flight detail is QF006 at Changi Airport Terminal 1, departure timing - 7.55pm.
This course is about 6 weeks, hope to see you guys 6 weeks later, not earlier than that...

Yeah this's my first time to Singapore Airshow...And thanks to AFRC...it's a free traders' pass for entry but for the wrong reason...On duty! But fortunately, we're given 1 more day for own time own target (OTOT) so that we can do our own exploration. Haha...it's freaking 5 bucks for the shuttle bus to the Singapore Airshow! So imagine me taking it to and fro...10 bucks! Oh man...

I went to his wake on Sunday...From what I've heard on, his accident was due to him crashing his bike into a car on the way to Thailand via Singapore & Malaysia, which was at Ipoh. He had a severe head injury...Sigh...

Heartbreaking to see a friend/colleague whom was once quite close to you ending up this way...I had always enjoy his company while we were working together at NUM Premium or hanging out for supper. He's always damn cheerful, laugh in a really unique way, always had this small eyes going on, and I remember we always disturb him when he's wearing Party Tank because of his Ang Kong (tattoo)!

Oh well, what's gone is gone...Let's learn to really treasure your loved ones, your friends and everything around you before it's too late :)

Does this awesome view seem familiar to you guys? Yes...You guys probably would've seen it in Couples Retreat. Nice... Haha. They've shot the film at St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. I don't know where is the exact location...But I do know that it's pricey!

I've always liked going to a beach resort or places where you can actually sit down, relax...think about nothing and enjoy the scenery and play the favourite water sports for example, jet ski, snorkelling...How I wish I can just stay there for good, love the sea, the view and everything you can do there!

I was enlisted on 7th Oct 2009...
Thought it'll be like a 'tekan' session almost everyday in Tekong...but somehow...it's a different story.
Had quite a joyful experience inside. Meeting different kind of people and doing fun/ stupid stuff together. Heh! A memorable one...

Got an IPPT Gold which I've always try to aim for...because running is not my forte. It takes great effort and composure to actually endure the training. But I think I should run more often now, when I enter the command school, or when I take my IPPT test after I ORDed. It will really matter alot because there's actually a 'reward' of $200 to $400 if Gold is achieved.

Yeah...Let me continue from where I last stopped...

This should be the day 3 onwards...

We went to this steak restaurant which was quite atas over there...and the price is very reasonably cheap & worth it considering it with a full course meal!

The Singapore team had our friendlies with the respective rivals to get ourselves prepared, but I didn't get to play any friendlies :( because me & a few others got to attend the ICF referee course.
Paid 40 Euro for the course in order to be able to be classified as an International Canoe Federation referee. Passed the theory test but in the end...SIGH! I didn't have any slot for my practical refereeing...SO...I haven't pass the course! Damn it! Waste my time & money...Hopefully Duncan's able to organise the referee workshop in Singapore soon.

Something ridiculous happened this early morning!
Fucking pissed me off!

Pearlynn and I went to AMK Mac for our breakfast and as usual, we leave our bags at the table and ordered our meal. But when we return (about 1 or 2 min later) , she realised that her handbag's gone! WTF!

We were quite stunned cause it happened out of a sudden, so I went out of Mac to look for her bag, thinking that the thief is very stupid to grab her bag because it's a Freitag bag. (only 1 design each in the world, LOL! K whatever...) And maybe about 30min later, we still can't find her bag, CCTV at that Mac happened not to have any video camera recording at the seat that we took. We sort of decided to give up...

But I happened to see 1 staircase behind Mac and went up...

I saw the Freitag bag on the floor! :D
But...Some items were missing...

Back from Taiwan 09 Part 1!

Yo...back from Taiwan since 2 weeks ago, but damn lazy to update this blog. Let me briefly share what happened during this trip. Starting off with 1st week, which was the competition week.

We had to travel the whole of 1st day to reach our destination, Hualien...Freaking tiring! And that's where we stationed ourselves for our 1st week, at Song Yuan Hui Guan.

Didn't take any photos of the lodging area, but this is the scenery behind our apartment. That's where the Pacific Ocean is, on the 1st picture. And the 2nd & 3rd picture show the town of Hualien, quite a small town they have and it's much more laid back than Taipei's. The fashion there is abit different as well.

As the trainings/friendlies/competition only start on 3rd day, we went touring around on the 2nd day. And here we are! Sightseeing of whales & dolphins! :) I think this is one of Hualien's main attraction.

We're at the Pacific Ocean, just damn nice...erm...with a 'lost' feeling...Cause we're in the middle of nowhere waiting for the dolphins & whales to swim past the BIG ocean! So, we cannot guarantee that we may be lucky enough to see those mammals...So, after waiting for like an hour, dolphins started appearing...Too difficult to get good shots and they're too fast for us and the shutters, so this is what I got, some others in Facebook...

WE FOUND WHALE SHARK TOO! HEH!

He finally got discharged this afternoon from TTSH. It happened on Sunday after breakfast, when suddenly, he felt great distinct pain on his side of the tummy, beside the belly button. All of us suspected it was appendix, and we brought him to the hospital. He was breaking out in cold sweat and his face & body turned pale. This is the first time I've seen him being in this state. And so, he was admitted from Sunday til today.

During his stay, Doctor said that it's intestine infection and if it's serious, they have to remove the infected part and for the rest of the life, he got to live with some bag by his abdomen or something, which means he can't control his pass motion-ing. That sounded really awful. I wondered to myself, how is he able to exercise n lead on his healthy and positive lifestyle if that really happened? It's saddening...

Hmm fortunately, Doctor said that if his condition is improving, he is able to discharge. And here he is now, home sweet home. Somehow, missed him at home. Hah. But Mum told me the infection is still giving him problem, it still hurts... Oh well, let's just hope nothing bad will happen.

Totally Ridiculous!

Okay, it's been a long time since I updated this blog. And finally today I've something really interesting and f-disgusting stuff to share...In which, I hope I don't have any of this happening to me ever again.

Today is the most ridiculous day that ever happened on me! Or probably, Shim's the most ridiculous customer that I've ever met, seriously...Because...I ALMOST GOT SEXUALLY HARASSED! :(

It happened like this...

I was working the 11 to 5 shift alone at Velocity Flip Flop today. (FYI, Novena Square other than Lucky Plaza, is known for the Pinoys) Then around 4plus, this filipino lady came in. She had the typical filipino look, like those I've served before. Perhaps it's my normal habit to glance through anybody's attire who came in the shop, or bypass it, I noticed she had kinda bigger boobs that the typical filipinos or Sporean girls doesn't own. And while scanning thru her, I noticed Adams Apple. So, I suspect she's a transformer...Oh well, just a thought.

And so, I served her as she wanted a Slim series flip flop. While getting the flip flop, she exclaimed, "Hmm, you are muscular, so you exercise often?" So, being polite, I thanked her and answered her questions. And i sensed her flirting with me asking my name and age with lustful stares :S

As she wanted to wear it straight away, I cut the tau geh off from the flip flop and I heard something from her and assumed she's trying to dirty talk with me. Luckily, I couldn'y really hear what she said because she spoke too softly, if not I'ld be very grossed out!

I brought her to the counter and as I did the transaction, she asked, "Can I touch ur muscle?" Without any hesitation, I rejected her. And she asked again, "Why can't I touch? There isn't anybody looking" This time round, I ignored her while trying to rush the transaction and I felt her fingers on my right arm. Suddenly, from the side of my eye, I saw her hands trying to grope me on my groin area, and at that point of time, she quickly pulled her hand back maybe because she realised that I've noticed it. What the fuck! I couldn't really scold her because she's the customer afterall, felt so helpless and furthermore, I'm alone! Sadded!

After that while I was still doing the transaction, she asked for my number so that we can meet after work for some fun :S CRAP! I rejected her once again and she asked is it because we're not allowed to give, I nodded and she said, "Why not I give you my number instead? You can call me after your work!" LOL oh my goodness! Ahhh! It was so close....sooo sooo close to being the SPCPOC champion once again, damn it...! Left with just 1 minute to end it all! But we let in a goal and then came extra time, golden goal format...Gosh, once again, the familiar extra time of last year's flashed through my mind. Hmm, anyway we fought hard and manage to keep it goalless for 2 extra time and then came the new rule where they pick out 1 player, leaving it 4 against 4 in the court, and reducing it to 3 a side after the full extra time...but it didn't last long...An error caused us the game. The score's 1 - 2.

So sad seriously...we fought so hard and made a comeback...

But oh wells, they really deserve winning it...good game, Team Singapore :)

We didn't get any gold this time round, but it makes my passion grows even deeper for canoe polo. The desire to achieve more every competition just keeps increasing every now and then. It's like, when you didn't hit the target set for your team or yourselves, you just wanna fight hard for it, at the same time enjoy the sport and not to feel demoralised.

I believe that my teammates and I will come back for more... right, El Clasico? :D

Anyway I enjoyed playing with team Caution, seriously. (especially with my teammates again, haha!)

Godamnit...Received a NS Letter few days ago asking me to report for a Vocational Assessment on 2nd Feb at 7:30am at Sembawang Naval Base. Nooooo! I don't wanna go NDU! It's not my preferred choice at all... SIGH! Ray told me that most probably I will enter NDU if I go for the VA...

Earlier today, I went for training...1st priority was to coach the juniors girls...But turned up only 1 came, so got the other junior guys along... Hmm, due to the wrist injury that got me not being able to gym & row, (Felt so useless!) my hand and body became so awkward, or rather they're so 'itchy' that I went n rowed & shoot some balls...

While shooting and rowing around, happened to see this mynah on top of the goal post resting on the inner top bar. 1st thought of it was wanna chase the bird away, so I took a ball and shoot right at it. Never did I know, it fell on the top net, dropped right thru to the bottom net and into the water! OOPS! I guess I may have injured it as I see it struggle on the water =X Luckily, my junior picked it up and left on the poolside.

Damn it, I felt so guilty after that, yet hilarious =X
The bird was practically stoning and hopping around for up to 10min as though the right leg's injured and also after suffering from a shock, but walked around shortly... Probably it was thinking, "What the fcuk HIT me? How did I fell into the water?"

Fuck...It was ME! LOL!

Seriously, never did so cruel stuff in my life before beside throwing snails faraway when I was younger or killing ants. I think that poor bird flew away after 10min, didn't see it around after tt. Or maybe it fell into the bush :S

Yeah, finally I start to touch on this trip again. Been so long! Hmm, back to S'pore like 1 month plus ago. Still misses it! LOL!

When we reached the competition area at Chung Hwa, we saw this notice pasted on the wall.

It says that

"Whoever loses will have to cut botak!"

What I've heard from Wei Chen is that the coach thinks that either the Senior or Junior team ain't working hard enough and they're being too complacent, so in order for them to perform up to their best, whoever loses will have to sacrifice their precious hair. LOL! Good thing, SP don't have this kind of culture...

The weather's quite cooling in Taiwan...like air con temperature. But when the wind's blowing...shivers!

We ate the desserts at Xi Men Ding. Damn nice! We ate 3 plates at one go :D

The shrimp fried rice at Shih Lin is uber NICE!!! I wanna go back there and eat it again!

Although the portion is small, but still it's super delicious! Nothing compared to those good zhi char at coffeeshops.

Ate at this small restaurant which specialise in Omu rice. I ate Tempura omu rice. Yummy! :)

The ride is damn unique, when the rollercoast goes up to the top. It'll pause there for few seconds and eventually elevate and connect to the steep slope, that's where the fun comes cause you get suspended up there for don't know how many seconds AND down you GO!

Totally can't adapt to Singapore's temperature. Had training just now and the water seemed warm to me! Unlike the freezing cold water over at Taichung & Chung Hwa. Haha! Oh well, we didn't play up to standard, we got 7th & juniors got 8th, was quite disappointed with ourselves. We got 7th & juniors got 8th. But the girls got 2nd! Proud of them!
Nevertheless, I guess I've gained more experience in this trip...

The champion ladies team are too strong for our girls. Everything owns them and mind you...Some of them are only secondary school kids!

Yeah! This show is finally coming out soon. Not so sure when it's coming out in Singapore though, surely there'll be lots of censored. Sigh! What to do? Singapore...

This show has always been 1 of my favourite gore show. Those methods of torturing are damn cool please! But somehow, the storyline turned out to be a lil' complicating. Wondering who's the new apprentice after Jigsaw, don't think it's Hoffman...There's gotta be something more fresh & interesting since it's directed by a different guy.

Yes! It's confirmed! We're going Taiwan...AGAIN! To Chung Hwa for the competition and Taipei for our holidays! 11th to 19th November. Actually it's also a self declared holiday and we have the LOA approval, gonna skip school for 8 days! HAHA!

This time round, Yuan Feng, Zhi Wei & I are sitting SQ! Ho ho! All thanks to us making our passport late...We're quite lucky to find the promotional package where you get 2 tix n above, the cost of the ticket will be $696 instead of $1.1k! :S

Sigh, school is starting next week...I'm dreading it...

It's been a year or two since SP dominate the first 3 positions.

AND AND!... We got our 6th consecutive IVP title for SP AGAIN! YEAH!
We won NUS 5 - 1 in the Finals!
Good jobs to the year 3s! I'm very proud of you guys! Keep up the good work! You guys've been respected. And so, it's time for you guys to coach the juniors. Get the 7th consecutive IVP title for SP again! :D
And also, GIRLS!!! Don't be discouraged! You girls definitely improved alot & also done well at this competition! You managed to block good shots from your opponents, zone & score well against good teams, isn't it GOOD?! Seriously, I think your zone is GOOD! Just train harder, I believe you girls will come back even much stronger! Have faith in yourself. :)
